Kelly MacLean Achievement Center (formerly College Recruiting Specialists) was founded to empower students on their journey of discovery and achievement. Originally focused on helping high school athletes in the Greater Cleveland Area secure college recruitment opportunities, KMAC has grown to support all students in reaching their full potential. With a strengths-driven approach, the KMAC team coaches students on how to learn, study, and achieve their academic goals while uncovering their true passions, all through a comprehensive, tailored plan for college selection and career planning.
Founder Kelly MacLean brings over 20 years of experience in college admissions and student development. Her expertise equips students not only to succeed academically but also to make informed decisions that extend far beyond high school. Kellyā€™s insights have been shared through collaborations with universities, professional athletes, and publications like STACK magazine, and she is an active member of several professional organizations. At KMAC, success is measured not just by test scores or applications, but by empowering students with the tools, strategies, and confidence to thrive in school, college, and beyond.

KMAC has reached coast-to-coast! While the Northeast Ohio and Greater Cleveland Area are certainly our home, we always knew that we could help students across the country. In 2019 we began seeing our first out-of-state clients, and now see clients from Seattle, WA to Yonkers, NY! These students have benefitted from our expertĀ ACT Prep, career exploration, and college application assistance to improve their college admissions chances.Ā
