Key2Reading — Reading Class for Grades 2, 3, and 4 in Northeast Ohio

First you learn to read, then you read to learn!

With virtual learning, your job as a parent has new meaning. You're now expected to be your kid's teacher, tutor, lunch lady, principal, gym teacher, and more. We'd bet that you don't know the first thing about teaching your 2nd to 4th grader how to read, something that's so crucial to their future.

Don't worry— we do.

Join us for our first reading program for little minds! We'll teach your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grader how to make reading just as fun as watching a movie. Using proven speed reading and comprehension building tools, we'll increase your child's engagement and enjoyment of reading while improving their ability at the same time!

4 weeks starting Wednesday, January 20 from 5:00-6:00 PM!

Snacks, materials, and books included.

Using proven techniques, we will:

  • Improve your child's reading comprehension, engagement, and reading speed.
  • Share these techniques with parents, so these lessons can be continued at home (highly encouraged!) to create a strong love of reading and learning.
  • Provide challenges for your children. Each class will include an art or critical thinking project for your child. They'll learn to exercise all parts of their brains as a part of reading.
  • Teach them how to make reading just as fun as watching a movie!

Formerly College Recruiting Specialists.

I came to Kelly with a score of 28 and raised my score to 34. I came as a sophomore and it really eased my life during junior year as I was able to focus on college visits and my classes. I highly recommend Kelly and her staff.

Kelly and her team helped me raise my score 6 points. They taught me the strategies and helped me master them. I hit my goal of 30. I could not have done It without them.

Kelly has worked with both of my boys and is a lifesaver. I knew I could count on her and her staff to get them prepared and make their college choices a reality.

Lisa S., Parent of Class of ‘18 and Class of ‘20

I didn’t think I could ever jump 7 points, but Kelly and her team helped me go from an 18 to 25.  I cried when I got my results.

Maddie F., Class of '20

When I was being recruited by UNC to play basketball, I thought I was good— I had good grades, and figured my ACT score didn’t really matter. After I signed, I got a message from the coach that I had to increase my ACT score by two points. I called Kelly at the Kelly MacLean Achievement Center and spent three hours with her using FaceTime. She taught me the strategies I needed and my score went up by 3 points! I could not have raised my score without KMAC, and tell everyone to call them before taking the ACT or any big tests.

Sterling M., Class of '17

I want to say THANK YOU so much for all that you did for Madeline!!! When she sent me her ACT score today I almost cried. You not only have opened a whole new avenue of opportunities for her future, but more importantly you have given her an immeasurable boost to her self confidence and esteem!!! To say we are so grateful is an understatement. You do amazing work.
